As a music producer with over twenty years’ experience Mike has been commissioned to
oversee the music production of a number of recordings. These vary from Handel’s
‘Messiah’ for full orchestra and chorus to solo piano pieces with such artists as
Melvyn Tan, Piers Lane, Joanna MacGregor and Noriko Ogawa. In 2006 Mike produced two
songs with Soul Diva Mica Paris for Granada/LWT’s ‘Miss Marple’ series.

Anything Goes
To create the illusion of a famous Jazz artist making a guest-appearance
with the Louis Armstrong band of c.1951 Mike had to bring together all
of his music expertise - research, arranging, and producing to make this
track come to life. Vocals are by Mica Paris with Shenton Dixon as
Satchmo himself.

Green Eyes
Producer Karen Thrussell of Granada wanted a smooth, urbane rendition of
this song in the style of Nat King Cole. It features a full big band
arrangement and some stylish singing by Lance Ellington.
